Huh. A new way to write journals?
Snazzy stuff, man. Snazzy stuff.
Anywho.
I haven't updated my journal in a long ass time.
I've slowly been veering away from... Anime stuff, and have fallen more into Western comics. I mean, I still like Anime and Manga, but it's definitely not the forerunner in my interests these days. My art style right now is a definite blend between the typical 'anime' style and the style in Western comics, but we'll see how long that sticks. It's definitely helped me improve, that's for sure. Proportions have started to come way more naturally, blahblahblah.
I'm in a relationship, and I love her very much.
I have no scanner, and I'm not exactly confident enough yet to post my digital art up here. Well, correction- I'm not confident enough with my digital art to post it up here. I also don't have a scanner, so no pencil sketches for you. Not that anyone probably gives a poop, but ho hum.
The DC fanbase has introduced me to a bunch of new, amazing friends. There's a lot more of them than there was back when I was making online friends in my anime stretch, but I'm not exactly sure why. I'm not complaining, though.
Hmm... what else... I dunno, really. There isn't much to say. I'm a redhead now, I'm driving, things like that...
I've become something of a critic over the last few months. I think tumblr's done it to me, honestly. It's like, I don't give a shit if someone's like "omg, fuck you, what the fuck do you know?" Because I usually feel like I do know what I'm talking about. Luckily, I'm not afraid to admit it when I'm wrong.
I recently gave this girl on here some constructive criticism, because I noticed something in her art that I used to do a LOT. I'm not exactly sure how she'll take it, because she's probably asleep right now, but here's hoping she takes it to heart.
hEY GUESS, wHAT iVE BEEN, rEADING,,,
Yeah. Trying to, at least.
Anyway!
Buh-bye!
Oh. And Batman: Arkham City? It's perfection.
